THE LAST WORD

"Nice to see I'm not the only one that can't sleep."

"Yeah, well.."

"Is something the matter?"

"Nah. Just thinking."

"About what?"

"You and Johnny."

"What about us?"

"Well, you were both feeling awful about losing that little girl."

"Yeah. that was rough."

"You gonna be okay?"

"I think so. .Hey, Mike? Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"Why don't you say very much?"

"Are you kidding? Between the five of you, you think I can get a word in edgewise?"

"Point taken. No offense?"

"Absolutely none. Besides, it has its advantages."

"What does?"

"Being quiet."

"Like what?"

"Have you ever noticed when I DO talk, I tend to get the last word?"

"Yeah. yeah! You do!"

"Feeling better?"

"Actually, yes I am."

"Go to bed, Roy."

"Good-night, Mike."

"Good-night."
